Asset financing is typically structured as a source of finance secured by a specific asset to be acquired, or across a combination of assets already owned and new assets.

• Mainly used to support working capital but is capable of a wider application
• This can include debtors, stock, property, and equipment
• The financing institution may not own the companies’ assets, but the assets can be seized if the business does not make its required payments on the loan
• Assets currently owned and operated by the business can be used as security
• A wide range of finance options and suppliers are available
